ESTO DICE ELLA EN SUS SITIOS WEB:

I am an American Artist and Poet. I am a Seeker seeking to "See"
My friend Jude Harzer described me in a post she shared today ...
"Seer and seeker of beauty and truth...Christine Kysely"
I am... I am a Seeker ... Seeking to See

"To me, when photographing anything, the parts are almost always more interesting than the whole. I think this is the same with people. “Seeing” someone is not the same as “knowing” someone, and “knowing” someone is not the same as “loving” someone…it’s all about how deep do you want to go. The challenge is always to go deeper than you’ve gone before…and discover what you haven’t before…it’s the same with being in love.

My happiest moments are with my camera…looking to see…the art of seeing, synonymous with being, being who I want to be, seeing what only I can see. This is what makes me unique as a person, as an artist, as a photographer."

“Every morning, in his extreme loneliness, The Laughing Man [whose face had been disfigured in a tragic circumstance], stole off to the dense forest surrounding the bandits' hideout. There he befriended any number and species of animals: dogs, white mice, eagles, lions, boa constrictors, wolves. Moreover, he removed his mask and spoke to them, softly, melodiously, in their own tongues. They did not think him ugly.” ― J.D Salinger

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

“You can't measure time by days, the way you measure money by dollars and cents, because dollars are all the same while every day is different and maybe every hour as well.”

“You speak an infinite deal of nothing.”

“Solitude produces originality, bold and astonishing beauty, poetry. But solitude also produces perverseness, the disproportianate, the absurd and the forbidden.”

“He who has truth at his heart need never fear the want of persuasion on his tongue.”
― John Ruskin, Stones of Venice [introductions]

“Forbearance in the face of fate, beauty constant under torture, are not merely passive. They are a positive achievement, an explicit triumph.”

SMOKING KIDS | EXPO FRIEKE JANSSENS
